Witch hazel adds a lovely antibacterial component which makes this a nice way to freshen your yoga mat before or after use. I love the ritual of it all and I breathe deeper knowing my mat is sweet smelling and not harboring gross bacteria. (Or any negative feelings I may have released during my last practice.) I spray myself before meditating, when I feel a bit drained and need a pick me up, or when I come in contact with gross energy.
